Connie Christensen is a 20 year member of Prairie Rose Chorus. She has distinguished herself in many areas of service. She has been a member of the board and served as Membership Chair andByLaws Chair. She has written many of the scripts we used for shows also designing and producingprograms for our shows. Connie is a dependable resource person for continuity in our chorus leadership. “Ask Connie” is a well used phrase when we have questions about almost everything. Connie took a leave of absence for a time when she had a health struggle, but returned with renewed determination to be a Forever Prairie Rose. We treasure Connie for the beautiful human being she is and as a distinguished and valuable member of our chorus.
Robyn Nadvornik
Awarded to Robyn Nadvornik
Prairie Rose Chorus 2017 Woman of Note
Robyn Nadvornik is the Director of Prairie Rose Chorus in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was one of the original members of the chorus at its inception 24 years ago, as well as a charter member of Prairie Rose. Robyn was director for most of that time. She has always worn more than one hat in our small chorus, being excellent in choreography and costuming too. However, last year presented her greatest challenge to continue her duties as director while shuttling her husband, Richard, to Fargo, ND for cancer treatment over five months, a distance of 300 miles from Dickinson. Robyn miraculously juggled her roles at home, work, and chorus during this trying time. She only missed one practice, much to the amazement of us members. She always claims that we are her family here, but we hold her in a special place in our hearts too. She has shown us dedication above and beyond the call of duty, and we love and honor her.
